The curved Olive Tip SC Cannula (El Rayes) is designed for injection of fluids, primarily in the anterior suprachoroidal space. A scleral incision is created to expose the choroid. Then the rounded, atraumatic olive tip can be inserted into the suprachoroidal space. The cannula can be gently advanced to the treatment target. This is especially useful in the treatment of peripheral retinal detachments.
